Will You Be Mine?

Valentine's Day started last night with a surprise under my pillow.

I love finding notes under my pillow. When Huck would go out of town, I would rush home to see what he left me under my pillow. And when I would least expect it, I would find a note or piece of paper that said I Love You.

Lunch

Huck brought me lunch today at work, which was a much needed break. We enjoyed our Publix Jerk Turkey and Gouda Sub with lots of veggies and Doritos.

He told me he would come have lunch with me more often. He didn't realize my work was so close to the house. I guess he doesn't notice I leave at 815 everyday and get to work at 825.

On my way home, I stopped at CVS to buy a card to put Huck's gift in. There was a very limited number of cards left. Mostly just cards for Kids, from Pets, or to just friends. I said something to a guy looking at cards too, and he told me "Well I'm glade I bought my wife's card already, now I just have to get my girlfriend something." I'm sure he was joking. He laughed, so I hope he was. It made me laugh really hard either way.

I have been working really hard on Huck's gift for the past few days. I planned a walking tour of West Palm Beach. It hits all the major stops in town. I copied a tour I found online and added a few stops along the way.

I also booked a Cooking Demo and Tasting at Whole Foods and a Wine and Cheese Tasting for this Friday night, which I'm really excited about.

The part I was most excited about is the DANCE CLASS! We have the choice of Ballroom, Salsa, or Tango! I believe we both decided we want to do the Tango class. I can't wait!!

I stayed under my $20 budget for Valentine's Day! Believe it or not everything was free but the dance class and it was only $10 per person. We may take all three classes for that price.

Huck signed us up for a cooking class. We took a Sushi making class last year and really enjoyed it. I want to take an Asian class. It is the one cuisine, I suck at! I can't even make a basic stir fry!

Dinner

For dinner, we used the leftover Turkey to make Turkey Noodle Soup.

You can find the recipe here.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day! Now off to spend time with my Fiance! :)
